DESCRIPTION:In this class students will hand-fabricate 1-2 press-on nails o
 ut of brass. No previous metalsmithing experience is required. Students ma
 y choose silver instead of brass but must contact instructor directly to i
 ndicate this preference\, 48 hours prior to class!\n\nCLASS GOALS\n-Learn 
 use of dapping blocks and ring mandrel\n-Learn basic forming techniques + 
 annealing\n-Introduction to use of needle files and sandpaper\n-Use of pol
 ishing cabinet.\n\nMay 16\, 2026\, 3-6 pm\n\n$55/person\, materials includ
 ed\nRefund available up until one week before class.\n\nSafety: come with 
 closed toed shoes and long hair tied back. No loose clothing or jewelry. I
 f you have your own safety goggles you prefer please bring them. N95 mask 
 or equivalent ARE REQUIRED and will be provided by the instructor if you d
 o not bring your own.\n\nAges 18+\n\nMinimum 2 students\, maximum 6. Class
