SUMMARY:Handling a Damascus Pairing Knife *members and public*
DESCRIPTION:\n\nMaking a knife handle that suits your hand will bring you t
 o use that knife more often. We’ll handle stainless steel Damascus blade
 s\, and shape them to fit more comfortably. I’ll provide the blade blank
 s\, hardwood scales (from local woods)\, epoxy and pins. If you have some 
 picturesque lumber you’d prefer to use (or perhaps a sentimental piece)\
 , reach out-I’ll give you the minimum size we need to work with\;\n\nDat
 e/Time: 22 October\, 1-5pm\n\nPlease bring/wear safety glasses\, close toe
 d shoes\, hearing protection if desired.\n\nThe class is open to 2-4 stude
 nts\, open to 2-4 students\, girls + parent (minimum age 10)\n\nClass will
  be held in the Shop Classroom (at the back of the woodshop). We will be u
 sing the drill press\, beltsander\, rasps\, sandpaper and a bandsaw. Woods
 hop training (orientation at Bodgery woodshop) is preferable\, but not nec
 essary.\n\n$95 includes class fee and materials\; refunds available til 20
  Aug. This class is open to Bodgery members and the non-members. We reques
 t\, that non-members arrive at least 5 minutes prior to class so the instr
 uctor can let you inside as our building is locked 24/7.\n\nFor more infor
