SUMMARY:Intro to Woodworking for Women *members only*
DESCRIPTION:Woodworking skills class for women\, build a splined mitred box
 .\nThis is a 5 week course\, not for complete beginners. Only 4 participan
 ts are accepted since this is an instructor intensive course. You will bec
 ome more familiar with the most common machines in woodworking–jointer\,
  planer\, table saw and jigs\, and learn to think more about how to think 
 about solid lumbers\, all to build a splined mitred box. The project will 
 address some of primary concerns in wood working (wood movement and how to
  accommodate it). You will leave with a project to be proud of.\n\nThis cl
 ass is a red tool checkoff.\n\n\nThis is a 5 week (one day/week) course. C
 lass runs 5 Mondays\, 6Feb-6March\, from 7-10pm\nAdult members only\, 4 st
 udents\; first night we'll use the woodworking machine room\, the next 4 n
 ights will work in the Shop classroom.\n\n\nPrerequisite: basic woodworkin
 g skills\n\nClass fee: Class fee $225\, $50 materials\n\nPayment due by 22
