DESCRIPTION:Want to learn to sew but never had the chance? Been a while and
  want to brush up? This is the class for you! This will serve as a hand se
 wing 101 class while also having the outcome of taking a handmade cat or p
 et toy home with you at the end of the day.\nWe'll learn the following sti
 tches: back stitch\, running stitch\, and ladder stitch. We'll also cover 
 how to mark out a pattern onto your fabric\, how to consider and think abo
 ut seam allowance\, and safety features when making toys for pets.\n\n\nMa
 terials and equipment (sewing needles\, thread\, fabric\, and stuffing) wi
 ll be provided by the instructor. Materials are zero waste -- the bodies o
 f the cat toys are made from scrap fabric from several sewing stashes\, an
 d the stuffing is sheep wool cast offs from spinning yarn!\nThis is an all
  ages class\, with the caveat that all students should be comfortable usin
 g a sewing needle - aka an object that can be sharp and pointy if mishandl
 ed.\nThe class will be held on October 24th from 6PM-7:30PM at the large c
 raft table in the main area of the Bodgery.\n\n\nThe cost is $28 per perso
 n\, which includes all materials. You will only need to bring yourself. No
