SUMMARY:Sharpening Woodturning Tools *members and public*
DESCRIPTION:How to Sharpen Woodturning Tools\n\nThis is a hands-on class to
  learn how to sharpen high speed steel turning tools. We will sharpen the 
 standard HSS tools used for woodturning on the slow speed grinding wheels 
 in the woodturning area.\n\nThursday\, June 27\, 6:30 to 8:00 pm\n$45\nMax
 imum four students per class.\nWe will be using the CBN grinding wheel and
  the OneWay sharpening jig to sharpen the community tools.\n\nThis class i
 s open to anyone interested in advancing their skills in woodturning. Kids
  10 and up ok\, but under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.\n\nIf a stud
 ent already has their own turning tools\, that is fantastic. Please bring 
 them with you and show them to me before class so you can practice the cor
 rect techniques for your tools. Please note we will be sharpening high spe
 ed steel woodturning tools only.\n\nClosed toe shoes are required. Long ha
 ir must be pulled back. No exceptions.\nThe class meets in the “Woodturn
 ing” part of the shop where the wood lathes are located.\n\nIf necessary
 \, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Please arrive on time (or f
 ive minutes early!!) since this is a short class. Non-members\, please arr
 ive 5 minutes early as our buildlings are locked 24/7. No refunds if you a
