SUMMARY:Woodshop Basics (Members only\, required for using the woodshop)
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the woodshop!  Whether you’re brand new to woodwo
 rkinMg or a seasoned woodworker\, we’re looking forward to having you in
  the shop.\n\nThis orientation is required to use the machines in the wood
 shop. It is an introduction to get members familiar with the woodshop\, to
 ols\, and policies.  Members who complete the orientation will have acces
 s to all machines covered in the session.\n\nWe will cover safety and wood
 shop policies (scheduling time in the woodshop\, allowed lumber and lumber
  storage\, glue-up/assembly area use\, and more).\n\nAfter the policy disc
 ussion and tour of the woodshop\, we will go over the principles of safe m
 achine operation.  Attendees will be guided through the steps of milling 
 a rough board using the jointer\, planer\, and table saw. We will also cov
 er the miter saw\, drill press\, sanding machines (random orbital and stat
 ionary sanders)\, and dust collection.  Other tools (routers\, bandsaws\,
  mortisers\, etc.) will be covered individually or in groups outside of th
 is orientation session.\n\nPlease wear appropriate shop attire (no loose/d
 angling clothing or open-toed shoes\, hair should be tied back).  We do h
 ave some safety glasses and hearing protection but it’s a good idea to b
 ring your own (you’ll want them in the shop!).\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nYou must be
  a member of the Bodgery to take this class.  Non-members will not have a
 ccess to the woodshop after this class.  To become a member of the Bodger
