DESCRIPTION:You must be a member of the Bodgery to take this class.  Non-m
 embers will not have access to the woodshop after this class.  To become 
 a member of the Bodgery\, sign up for a New Member Orientation.\n\n&nbsp\;
 \n\nWelcome to the woodshop!  Whether you’re brand new to woodworking o
 r a seasoned woodworker\, we’re looking forward to having you in the sho
 p.\n\nThis orientation is required to use the machines in the woodshop. It
  is an introduction to get members familiar with the woodshop\, tools\, an
 d policies.  Members who complete the orientation will have access to all
  machines covered in the session.\n\nWe will cover safety and woodshop pol
 icies (scheduling time in the woodshop\, allowed lumber and lumber storage
 \, glue-up/assembly area use\, and more).\n\nAfter the policy discussion a
 nd tour of the woodshop\, we will go over the principles of safe machine o
 peration.  Attendees will be guided through the steps of milling a rough 
 board using the jointer\, planer\, and table saw. We will also cover the m
 iter saw\, drill press\, sanding machines (random orbital and stationary s
 anders)\, and dust collection.  Other tools (routers\, bandsaws\, mortise
 rs\, etc.) will be covered individually or in groups outside of this orien
 tation session.\n\nPlease wear appropriate shop attire (no loose/dangling 
 clothing or open-toed shoes\, hair should be tied back).  We do have some
  safety glasses and hearing protection but it’s a good idea to bring you
 r own (you’ll want them in the shop!).\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nYou must be a membe
 r of the Bodgery to take this class.  Non-members will not have access to
