Make 3 to 4 encaustic pieces (bees wax and resin).
1) First piece will use the technique of photograph on panel. Please send images you would like to use to artknechtion@outlook.com 2 days before class.
2) Second piece will use oil pastel and shellac. We will burn it off and it will create a marbling effect.
3) Third piece will use collage techniques on premade Wisconsin pieces.
If there is time a fourth wood panel will be provided to make a piece of your choosing. Please see pictures of examples.
The class will take place Friday January 3rd from 6-8:30 in the Annex
The class is $60 with materials provided. Refund or reschedule if cancel with 2 day’s notice.
Aprons will be provided but wax might get on clothes, plan accordingly.
