Description: This 3-week course will cover each step towards making finished ceramic pieces using the pottery wheel. This includes throwing forms such as cups and bowls, how to trim and modify pieces, and will finish with glazing and firing. Intended for beginners or anyone looking to get back into pottery. You should have ~3 finished pieces by the end of the course. This will also count as the area orientation and tool check-off for reserving time on the wheels.
Cost and refund policy: $110 for the 3-week course. Refund available with notice any time prior to the day of the first session. All material costs are included in the class fee. Bringing an apron or towel is recommended to keep your clothes clean but clay usually washes out easily.

Location: Ceramics Area
2-4 students, 16+. Non-members may register with the understanding that they will not be able to use the ceramics area’s equipment outside of class sessions unless supervised by a Bodgery member.
