Date(s) - Thursday, June 29, 2023 - Thursday, July 27, 2023
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
This 5-week beginner’s course will teach you how to throw on the pottery wheel. No prior experience with ceramics is necessary and we’ll cover each step towards making pieces on the wheel from start to finish. This includes the basics of working with clay, operating a pottery wheel, throwing and trimming forms such as cups and bowls, pulling and attaching handles, and will conclude with glazing and firing. You should have ~3-5 finished pieces by the end of the course. This will also count as the ceramics area orientation and red-tool check-off for reserving time on the wheels.
