Ever wonder why Black and White photos can be so powerful and enthralling? Join this five-week class to learn the fundamentals of Black and White Photography. Even for those not particularly interested in black and white photography, it is a great way to train your eye on what can make an appealing image.
We will spend three weeks in the computer classroom learning topics and reviewing pictures. Two weeks will be spent outside the classroom, not at the Bodgery, practicing these techniques. Participants need to have a digital camera; a cell phone works perfectly fine, too. I also have two cameras for rent if you’d like to try your hand with one, contact me for details.
What to bring to each class: a camera, charged battery(s), and a memory card with free space. You should also make sure you have a way to transfer photos to your computer outside of class.
April 22nd-May 20th. Wednesdays 6:30-9pm in the Computer Classroom.
Class fee $150. Minimum class size 4, max class size 12. Ages 18+, minors welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Refund available if cancelled one week prior to the class. Class may be cancelled if minimum numbers are not met.
Questions? Feel free to reach out to Tom Scanlon email: tom@fourmaple.photography cell: 347.829.6004, text preferred, slack: Tom Scanlon (not great at checking this).
