Kevin, from Wisco Bonsia returns to the Bodgery, on 28th March 2026, to show us how to take a nursery plant and repot it into a Bonsia (pot). The class is hands-on, and he will cover basics of repotting a bonsia and is a good class if you are a beginner or intermediate level.
Cost: $95/person, 6 people in class. 5 minimum needed. Cost includes a boxwood tree/registration, substrate, and a plastic training pot + $5 to the Bodgery (as Kevin is an external instructor).
Class timing: 11am -3pm. We won’t be stopping for lunch, but please bring something to munch on /drink. If you’ve been to the 101 class, you know its pretty casual.
Refunds: No refunds! You’re welcome to find a replacement for yourself if you cannot make the class. Class will be cancelled if minimum numbers are not met.
Weather: If Kevin cannot make it over due to bad weather, class cost will be refunded.
Location: Shop classroom. If you are not a Bodgery member, please come 5-10 minutes early so that we can get you settled before the class starts. Someone will wait for you at the main entrance. Our buildings are locked 24/7, so please don’t be late.
Clothes: You’ll be working with soil and bonsia substrate, dress accordingly. Work gloves maybe? Closed toe shoes are recommended.
Kevin will bring the tools we can use during class. I have also asked him to bring a few extra supplies so we can buy tools, substrate, etc if we would like to have our own supplies.
