Make 3 encaustic art pieces 3×7 inches. Encaustic is a technique where bees wax and resin are heated in layers. Oil pastels and shellac will be used. We will burn off the shellac and it will create a marbling effect. It will be an abstract piece using images provided. Colored encaustic will also be an option.
Class we’ll take place Saturday February 28th, from 10-1 in the Annex (flex space).
Aprons will be provided but wax might get on clothes, plan accordingly.
This class is for beginners or individuals who want to advance their techniques. Open to bodgery members and the public.
minimum 3 students max 5.
Class is $55, refunds will be given if class is dropped before the 24th of February.
