Date(s) - Sunday, December 11, 2022
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Making a knife handle that suits your hand will bring you to use that knife more often. We’ll handle stainless steel Damascus blades, and shape them to fit more comfortably. I’ll provide the blade blanks, hardwood scales (from local woods), epoxy and pins. If you have some picturesque lumber you’d prefer to use (or perhaps a sentimental piece), reach out-I’ll give you the minimum size we need to work with;
11 December, 1-4pm;
safety glasses, close toed shoes, hearing protection if desired; adults only, open to 2-4 students
Class will be held in the Shop Classroom (at the back of the woodshop). We will be using the drill press and a bandsaw. Woodshop training (orientation at Bodgery woodshop) is preferable, but not necessary.
No refunds since it’s difficult to find a replacement so close to the class date. If you do miss out on registering for this class, please email me (Puja) at firstname.lastname@example.org and I can persuade Martha to have another class mid-January. It is a fun class!!
This event is fully booked.
