Description: This class is a hand-on introduction to lampworking using the dual-fuel torches. The first part of this class will teach how to use the space, torches, and tools safely. The instructor will demonstrate simple techniques like melting and shaping the glass to create beads or solid forms. Included in this class are 4 hours off additional torch time that the students may use outside of class to practice.
Date and time of the class: Thursday, December 17th – 10:00AM – 1:00PM
Cost and refund policy: $50. Refund with cancelation notice within 48 hours. If cancelling within 48 hours, no refund can be offered but a seat can be held for you at the next available class at no cost.
Safety: Recommend wearing cotton clothes you don’t care too much about. Touching hot glass or tools to you or your clothes is rare but accidents can happen. Close toed shoes are encouraged.
