Introduction to Woodworking For Kids of All ages 6 and up
In this woodworking class we build a foundation of skills to create a project from start to finish. Students are introduced to Safe use of Knife, Axe, Saw, Drill, Hammer and Tape Measure as we cut Chop Saw and Drill in wood to create our project. Students have the opportunity to choose from a number of projects to suit their age and interest. It is recommended that students 8 and under are accompanied by an adult
Thursday evening classes are ongoing and will run March 28th to June 6th. The $50 is per child per class. If you’d like to bring your child to multiple classes, please sign up for each of those classes.
The class meets in the Shop Classroom. If you’re not a member, please arrive a few minutes early as our building is locked 24/7.
