This is a certification class to learn to use the shop Laser Cutters. Anyone can attend the class, but only certified members can actually use the machines.
The class normally takes about 2 hours. There is an optional Q&A session after the class.
You do not need to bring any materials, but you should be prepared to take notes. Many different software toolsets can be used with the cutters, but the class will focus on Inkscape and RDWorks/RDCam v8.
PLEASE NOTE: This class starts in the computer lab classroom, not in the laser area. Also, during winter months, this class is subject to rescheduling due to unfavorable road conditions. Please check slack if in doubt.
