Date(s) - Sunday, November 5, 2023
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
In this 2 hour workshop, you will learn a nature printing technique that captures a direct impression of plants and flowers. The technique will be used on cards and other flat paper applications. Supplies will be provided for you to create 5 postcards, notecards and flat prints. If you’d like to bring additional paper to print on, you are welcome to do so. Paper with a smooth finish will pick up more print detail.
Please bring: a paper towel roll, an apron/shirt to protect you clothing from ink, baby wipes/a damp towel in a Ziplock bag for wiping your hands, and scissors. Please bring fresh plants to print: choose leaves with prominent vein patterns or interesting shapes. Some plants will print better than others. Please, no poisonous or noxious plants. Some interesting plants may include maple and oak leaves, dandelion, ornamental grass, ferns. It’s amazing what you’ll notice once you start looking at plants.
Class cost: $65 and includes materials except where noted above. Class will take place in the Shop classroom. No refunds unless class is cancelled due to low registrations.
The class is open to The Bodgery members and non-members. The class has 6 spots available.
