In this class students will hand-fabricate a spinner/fidget ring with mixed metals including brass and copper. Beginner friendly class, no previous metalsmithing experience required.
CLASS GOALS
-Learn to measure ring size and translate to metal
-Introductory soldering basics
-Introduction to needle files and sandpaper sticks
-Learn use of dapping punches.
-Polishing cabinet use

Refund available up until one week before class. Class may be cancelled if minimum class levels are not met.
*Students with metal allergies or preference for sterling can opt for sterling silver, but MUST contact the instructor with this preference at least 48 hours before class. Sterling will require an additional charge, which will be determined by the weight of metal used, and paid day of class by cash or Venmo.
Safety: come with closed toed shoes and long hair tied back. No loose clothing or jewelry. If you have your own safety goggles you prefer please bring them. N95 mask or equivalent ARE REQUIRED and will be provided by the instructor if you do not bring your own.
Ages 18+
Minimum 2 students, maximum 4.
