This class will introduce you to the stained glass area(and function as a check off) and allow you to learn the skills to make your own small suncatcher. There will be patterns you can pick from and we’ll go over choosing the glass, cutting and grinding, foiling, and soldering your piece together as well as ways to display it. The class fee is $75 which covers all materials used and provides extra funds to the area. Refunds can be given up until two days in advance, and class spot can be transferred to another member as well.
Class: January 27th at 12:00pm. Expect the class to last 2-3 hours depending on complexity of your piece. This class is open to 1-3 people. Recommended age is 13+.
Area being used is the stained glass workbench in the glass area. Gloves and eye protection are provided, I would recommend tying your hair up for this class as well.
