In this class students will hand fabricate a swallow (bird) pendant out of brass. Previous soldering experience is helpful to complete this class within the allotted time. If you have questions reach out to instructor for clarification, contact listed below. ***Folks with metal allergies may opt for sterling silver but must reach out to the instructor 48 hours before class so material can be prepped. Additional cost for silver to be paid day of class, cash or Venmo.
CLASS GOALS
familiarity with Jeweler’s Saw
Learn use of files + sandpaper
Learn use of torch for soldering, sweat soldering techniques
Learn use of patina to color metal

Refund available up until one week before class.
Safety: come with closed toed shoes and long hair tied back. No loose clothing or jewelry. If you have your own safety goggles you prefer please bring them. N95 mask or equivalent ARE REQUIRED and will be provided by the instructor if you do not bring your own.
Ages 18+
Minimum 2 students, maximum 4. Class may be cancelled if minimum numbers are not met.
