In this class students will fabricate a brass pendant (or bolo) that resembles a flying swallow. **Folks can choose which option they prefer, but anyone who chooses a bolo tie should expect to stay up to an extra hour to finish the fabrication.**
CLASS GOALS
familiarity with Jeweler’s Saw
Learn use of files + sandpaper
Learn use of torch for soldering, sweat soldering techniques
Learn use of patina to color metal

$80/person, materials included
Refund available up until one week before class.
Safety: come with closed toed shoes and long hair tied back. No loose clothing or jewelry. If you have your own safety goggles you prefer please bring them. N95 mask or equivalent ARE REQUIRED and will be provided by the instructor if you do not bring your own.
Ages 18+
Minimum 2 students, maximum 4.
