In this class students will hand-fabricate 1-2 press-on nails out of brass. No previous metalsmithing experience is required. Students may choose silver instead of brass but must contact instructor directly to indicate this preference, 48 hours prior to class!
CLASS GOALS
-Learn use of dapping blocks and ring mandrel
-Learn basic forming techniques + annealing
-Introduction to use of needle files and sandpaper
-Use of polishing cabinet.

Refund available up until one week before class.
Safety: come with closed toed shoes and long hair tied back. No loose clothing or jewelry. If you have your own safety goggles you prefer please bring them. N95 mask or equivalent ARE REQUIRED and will be provided by the instructor if you do not bring your own.
Ages 18+
Minimum 2 students, maximum 6. Class may be cancelled if minimum numbers are not met
