Making a knife handle that suits your hand will bring you to use that knife more often. We’ll handle stainless steel Damascus blades, and shape them to fit more comfortably. I’ll provide the blade blanks, hardwood scales (from local woods), epoxy and pins. If you have some picturesque lumber you’d prefer to use (or perhaps a sentimental piece), reach out-I’ll give you the minimum size we need to work with;

Please bring/wear safety glasses, close toed shoes, hearing protection if desired.
The class is open to 2-4 students, adults only (a separate class for kids+their adults is planned at a later date. Please ask you instructor for details)
Class will be held in the Shop Classroom (at the back of the woodshop). We will be using the drill press, beltsander, rasps, sandpaper and a bandsaw. Woodshop training (orientation at Bodgery woodshop) is preferable, but not necessary.
$95 includes class fee and materials; refunds available til 20 Aug. This class is open to Bodgery members and the non-members. We request, that non-members arrive at least 5 minutes prior to class so the instructor can let you inside as our building is locked 24/7.
